The bachelor of arts (B.A.) major program in dance combines a broad experience in the liberal arts with a specialization in the area of dance. It prepares students to advance beyond the bachelor's degree in performance, teaching, dance criticism, or history. Audition required.

The Department of Dance is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance.
