WITHDRAWAL, READMISSION, AND REENROLLMENT


Withdrawal.  A student who wishes to withdraw from the university are advised to consult an advisor in the School of Engineering Office of Academic Services prior to submitting the University withdrawal form. Students who leave the school without officially withdrawing receive a grade of F in each incomplete course. Unless excused because of reasons beyond their control, students who withdraw after the 12th week of the semester receive a grade of F in all courses. Readmission.  Students who have been dismissed from the School of Engineering due to poor academic performance and wish to return must apply for readmission. Students must show evidence of sustained improvement of academic performance before they can be considered for readmission. Details about readmission are available from the Office of Academic Services.

Reenrollment.  Students who interrupt their enrollment in the School of Engineering and wish to return must apply by the deadline for reenrollment through the School of Engineering. Reenrollment is for students who left Rutgers School of Engineering in good academic standing. Details about reenrollment are available from the Office of Academic Services.
